The more I think we need to find a way to get him in here. We could be one player away, namely Sam Adams from a playoff spot. Granted our DE's are weaker than the DT's. If there is any way at all possible cap wise to get Adams and Ahanatou in here, heads will turn when they see the Bills coming to town.
i agree....our biggest weakness is not stopping the run. who is going to run through adams and williams? nobody. and if fletch has the blockers kept off him he will be free to roam and he can chase them down with the best of them. our run defense would go from one of the worst to above average. our D would be almost as good as out O if we can get any kind of pass rush.
TD is gunning for next year. We can't sign these average players, and be a factor in FA next year. We may have to take some lumps, unless guys like Adams get desparate and take the minimum.
