As a side note. I heard an interview on GR yesterday (F U Freeman!) and Larry Quinn said that he asked the NHL if we could use our throwback white jersey's for a game with Vancouver. Vancouver asked the Sabres (and I think the NHL) if they could wear one of their classic black jerseys here when they come to play us. That would be four jerseys for us.
In addition, the whole uniforms are to change as I hear it. The NHL is supposed to go to some new body armour or something where the jersey's are to be tucked into the pants. The number that is now on the shoulder was going to be on the players pants at their thigh. So more uniform changes are to come on an NHL level.
Yeah I know, because the colors are blue and yellow. But seriously, besides the look of the logo, doesn't the color disturb anyone? A yellow buffalo on the jerseys. The Buffalo is yellow!! How are there people that think it looks cool?
I'll be buying the classic Sabres Jersey and the old red alternate (with the bloddy sabres) on sale.
Don't waste your money on this jersey. So many fans are going to boycott it that the Sabres will be forced to switch it in less than two years (ala the islanders fishstick man). Then some fans will have an ugly jersey that isn't even worn anymore!

After seeing the whole package, I hate it even more.

And there's nothing but the slug on the chest, NO SABRES!
The only fans that will like this, are the young ones, who don't even know about the real blue&gold years.
After today, I'm giving my club their respect by wearing the 3rd jersey, and having to put up with a damn slug on our HOME ice.
