Adam Berkhoel

Did ANYONE seem to notice that we now have a 4th goalie in our system, apparently on Sept 7th we signed Adam Berkhoel who was previously with the Atlanta Thrashers, played as a rookie last season in 9 games and ha da 2-4-1 record with a 3.80 GAA and a .882 SV%, hell he's only played 12 games in the AHL even. Either way, call me crazy... I think he has some promise, not exactly starting goaltender promise but I think its a decent pick up, we'll see how he shapes us in the future anyway.

I had seen it on a very reliable website the other day but now I am checking tsn's website and they confirm it as well as you can see here

if this is old news for everyone then I'm sorry but I thought it was kinda interesting...

im pretty sure i heard he let in 6 goals after a period and a half during the morning..

he's not signed to play in teh NHL, its supposed to be in Racha cha...

I remember someone on Eklund's site saying this, but I didn't believe it. He was one of Atlanta's 5 or 6 goalies from last season.....

They had a ton of goalies playing last season, due to the injuries:

Lehtonen
Dunham
Berkhoel
M.Garnett
Shields

It might be a trend that continues, too, since Lehtonen, for all the hype behind him, can't seem to stay healthy.
