I see 8 more wins here, 9 more if Baltimore has no real reason to field a team at the end of the season. Would 10-6 be enough to get us the division / home game?

Re: So we are 2-2, pick what happens the rest of the way

    tough call.

So far, this team has shown more talent than anyone (including me) expected going in.They have the ability to win games that they're supposed to lose, but they've also shown a propensity for the big mistake and can lose games they're supposed to win.

    CHI loss
    DET win
    NE loss
    GB win
    IND loss
    HOU win
    JAX loss
    SD win
    NYJ loss
    MIA win
    TEN win
    BAL loss

I think we'll be 8-8, but I won't be surprised if we finish 6-10 and I'll only be mildly suprised if we finish 10-6.

BTW, the LEAST winnable game on our remaining schedule is NE. No one beats Bellicheck after a bye, plus that team always rebounds every time they look like they're about to collapse.

We'll end the season no better than 14-2.

Re: So we are 2-2, pick what happens the rest of the way

CHI ? I am not and may never be sold on Rex as a QB
    DET win Their toast
NE win Brady realizes his worst fear, TKO is back for blood
GB win JP shows Farve what youth can do
IND ? Indy D looked real shaky against the jets
    HOU win Their toast
JAX win They will not like our style, kill and run
SD win SD QB will run in fear and confusion
NYJ ? If we're streaking and penny is still healthy it will be close
MIA win MM comes home to roast
TEN win Young calls it a bad learning season, jeff fisher is fired
BAL ? If they need it it's a toss up / if they don't we win

So we have 8/9 wins in here somewhere and will a suprise a few bigger names.

Chicago also has two good running backs and the Best D in the league- they're not dependent on Grossman and made the playoffs last year without him.

    Detroit sucks.

NE- You're assuming TKO will play and forgetting about the Bellicheck bye-week factor and the fact that NE just knows how to beat us.

GB- Favre's over the hill and has no supporting cast- should be easy

INDY- Our D looked shaky against the Jets too. Manning will make our rookie safeties look like rookies.

Hou- they pretty much suck too.

Jax is a very physical team. I don't think it's an impossible game, but they're just as physical as the vikings and a hell of a lot better. It'll be tough.

SD- don't count on us getting pressure. So far, in 4 games the only QB we've been able to pressure is Culpepper.

NYJ- I agree, big question mark. So far they're overacheiving so we'll have to see if they're better than we thought or if they come back down to earth (no pun intended).

    Miami- win, enough said.

Ten- win, Vince young isn't ready.

Bal- loss- that stadium is a tough place to play and they have a D that rivals Chicago's. Also McNair is limited but is smarter and more dangerous than Boller so their offense has some life.

The Bills might over look the Lions and play like crap.

there are a lot of crappy teams in there- Detroit, GB, Tenn, Hou- chances are the Bills will overlook at least one of them.

Plus the Bills have New England after the Lions. I could see the Bills just barely beating the Lions or losing.

If the Lions lose this week they will be 0-5 going into the Bills game at home. How many teams start out 0-6?

Holy **** 10-6. I think we are in playoffs baby!!

Let me qualify a couple picks:

Jax and San Diego in Buffalo, tough games but they are beatable in the cold. I doubt we win both so pick one.

Baltimore is my strech but I'm hoping that they have already locked a playoff spot and position.

SD has a newby QB and he will be like a lost puppy in a snowstorm of cold and noise. SD is a warm weather team and this is our revenge game from last year to show how far we have come, it's a win.

see, your optimism stems from the fact that you focus on one player. The Chargers have Gates and Tomlinson on offense and Merriman on D.

While you're probably right that Rivers will struggle, that doesn't necessarily mean they will lose to us. I think LT will shred our DL.

It may snow December 3rd, LT might get hurt or we might have a great game, either way there are multiple factors at play here.

right but that's not what you said- you said we'd lose because Rivers will struggle. San Diego is not a one-dimensional team. I'm not saying we can't win the game- I'm just saying that it's going to take more than sub-par play from Rivers to keep the Chargers down.

How about if he fumbles 3 times and throws 3 picks, would we win then? Then I guess that there is a chance that he falls down or one of the other "great" players doesn't get their game on. Gates is good for nothing if Rivers is running for his life.

So 2 warm weather teams, SD / JAX come to Buffalo and beat the Bills in winter?

    Weather facts to read:

    http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/sho...d.php?t=110058

If you think about it we could easily split or win both.

The Raiders would beat the Bears if the Bears turned it over 6 times.

Hell, UB might be able to beat USC if USC turned it over 6 times.

But come on, skoob- do you really think Rivers will be that flustered by the cold that he'll be THAT bad?

Plus, when a QB is struggling they look to the TE as the dump off option- it would negate the long ball to Gates but wouldnt' completely neutralize him.
