Post Tight end Tim Euhus released by Pittsburgh

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2622815
Desperately thin at linebacker because of injuries, the slumping Pittsburgh Steelers made a desperation move Thursday, reaching back to their past and signing veteran free agent linebacker Chad Brown to help address their perilous shortage.

To create a roster spot, Pittsburgh released third-year tight end Tim Euhus

we still have Neufeld who was 1/3 of the useless 3-headed TE monster of the Mularkey days: Campbell, Euhus, Neufeld. Mediocre blockers, ran good routes but rarely open, absolute 0 YAC ability.

nobody except Evans had a decent game last week.

IMO Royal's been a disappointment. He's had a few drops, a few penalties and only a few catches.

But he's still better than Euhus.

I'd rather have Euhus than Neufeld or Everett. At least Euhus showed he can catch and get YAC before he tore his knee 2 years ago.

What a shame. That guy could be such a good player, but since his injury, he's never been the same.

Not utilizing the TE's falls squarely on the coaching. With that said Everett and Royal are 10 times better than Campbell, Euhus and Neufield.

Isn't Chad Brown like 72 years old?
You think you're hot **** in a champagne glass, but you're really cold diarrhea in a Dixie cup!
