A punt return threat!

If I'm payin Clements $7 million a year- why isn't he out there?
I don't understand- Clements & McGee were terrors in 2004 as return men- so they decide to put "Wrong Way" Roscoe in there instead? Then Justin Leonard?
WTF????
Justin Leonard is one hell of a golfer.. But I dont think he's much of a punt returner!
I want Leonard out there on punt team duty- just not returning.
His name is Jim Leonhard.
Jim, Justin, who cares? He shouldn't be returning punts.

Okay, this is a great point and I don't know if anyone has an answer. Is it possible that once they get to a certain level is it in their contract that they don't have to do punt returns??!!Originally Posted by Dozerdog
Clements used to be great at it. He doesn't do any of them and McGee is just on kickoffs now!!!!
I think Parrish is a better punt returner than Clements, but Clements is better than Leonhard. I guess the braintrust thinks Clements is too valuable a position player to be returning punts.Originally Posted by Dozerdog
And he probably would be, if he had some interest in being here.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
Clements was banged up so I could see..
But no excuse to not use Andre DAvis or McGee on that last punt return, it was our only chance to tie or win the game.
Then again, if Leonhard wasnt back there Detroit probably doesnt punt it to them.
I thought Davis returned kicks.
Didnt DAvis bring a punt back for a TD in the preseason?
and I've heard he's the fastest player on the team other than McGee
