    Tony Gonzo

It's been a long time since buffalo has had even a solid TE. If he hits the open market next season, marv needs to make a jump on him. Just his presence alone on the field would make teams respect the passing game.

Tight end certainly seems to be an area that will see a lot of quality. Daniel Graham and Jeramy Stevens are also available

That's right, they are, but they are not in Gonzo's league. If buffalo wants a better shot at getting back to the playoffs, it should start with getting an impact player like gonzo.

Of course I wouldn't mind settling for graham/stevens if gonzo was unavaiable.

I like Graham he is currently the best blocking TE in the league, which is why Denver will throw the bank at him.
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
          It was all
true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can
mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

WOW! That would be awesome to have a player of his caliber in Buffalo. We haven't had a solid tight end in here since McKellar and Metzelaars!
            Go Bills!
            Go Sabres!

JP Losman, your time is up!

Tony Gonzo. Any relation to Gonzo from the muppet babies?

j/p. I would take him for sure, a solid TE would help JP out alot. Plus, Gonzo could bring some much needed leadership to our offense.

No way Gonzales signs in Buffalo, a third of the teams in the league will throw big money offers his way. He will either resign with KC, or a team that is a true contender.

Dont get me wrong i would crap myself if we got a player with 3/4 Tony Gonzalez's talents but i dont think he will come here, he will stay in KC or go to a team were he can win now, and we are a few years away from that

he'd be a waste of money mainly because of our lack of using TE's anyways.. yea he's one of the best TE's in the game but we dont even use the ones we have NOW for passing. Plus it's a high-caliber mark, which usually rules buffalo out since we barely sign high-end guys anymore...... but there always is a spot for hope in my heart! haha

That would be like putting really fancy chrome rims on a piece of crap mini van.

Start with a QB that can get him the ball- and a running game that opens the passing lanes

IF they would USE Robert Royal, we would all be pretty high on him. He's pretty damn solid....and among the least of our worries at this point.

Even with his best days behind him, he still remains in the upper echelon of the NFL.
