All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I definately think its classier. Its actually pretty funny to think about. We are sitting here discussing how its odd that a couple of coaches are wearing suits. When in reality, in most other major sports the coaches/managers wear suits. Basketball, Hockey & Soccer instantly come to mind.
I don't see why coaches should have to wear suits. I think it looks out of place.
But anyway, it's never going to be a full-time thing. There's too much money to be made in merchandising these days.
I think Nolan will keep doing it. Its a smart way to get noticed, and gain positive attention. Some of the most famous coaches to ever coach in the NFL, are remembered largely because of their attire.
I kind of like a few of them wearing suits this weekend.
Respecting the coaches of the past in the NFL.
Makes them not look like they're going through a workout like Bill Belichick.
That makes about as much sense as a plumber working on a clogged drain in a suit.
And that's not a slam on plumbers. Their work is more important than any coach of a team .
The point is that I see it as equally rediculous.
Here is a person organizing a group of sweaty , smelly individual playing a game .
Some of the players they coach, can't spell their own last names.
Half of them have criminal records.
And these coaches are going to be wearing suits ?
Just picture one of these clowns wearing a suit like an executive and at the same time patting one of these smelly sweaty jocks on the ass as they come off the field .
