Troy Smith? FIRST OVERALL? Actually, that might not be such a bad thing.
I need to upgrade my DL and OL, so I may shop the 2nd overall pick around, depending on who is taken first.
Why dick around. I know who I want, why take the risk of losing him. ust like Mangold last year was it a a reach sure. But I got my guy. I dislike Quinn and think Troys mobility will fit my team well.
Yeah, the Mangold signing was nice. I sure was hoping I'd have a shot @ him w/ one of my 3 picks in the 2nd round.
Like I said, Troy wouldn't be too bad. He's a big game QB; that's always a plus.
Quinn looked like crap in one big game this year (Michigan), but was good in the other (USC). The other games on that school's schedule were nothing but scrimmages, including the whoopin' they put on my Nittany Lions.
