im on vacation in aruba this week. last night g/f and i decided to goto radison casino turned a corner and there u go. MULARKY. was pretty funny becuz i just looked at him and said MULARKY!!!! so go to talking to him and one of his friends about the bills. my first question was about willis i asked him if hes as big an idiot as ive been reading on sites and so on. his response was rather funny.
he paused for a sec looked at me and said bigger hewouldnt expand on it so i left it alone.
next thing he said to me has spikes been traded yet i said yeah 2 days ago he asked where i said eagles he was very surprised and said bills D just lost their emotional leader. he then asked what we got i said walker and that we also got rid of the BUM. to which he started to laugh. he said walker was a solid player so its an even trade.
but this led us to JP and KELLY HOMOBUM talk. i asked what he was thinking putting in holcomb 2 years ago. he claimed it wasnt his call. i told him that JP was the future and i thought it ridiculous to not give him those 4 games. he said look i was one of the people really gunning to draft him it wasnt my call. so i guess donahoe was making that call
after that i asked him about marv and what is real story behind him leaving he said family but morso wasnt comfortable with way front office was being built.
he was quick to say marv does nothing!!!! he wasnt cursing about marv so i said to him then modrak is running the show he said yeah but was a bit apprehensive he said modrak is in buffalo in his exact words 3 days a year i said has t be more then that hes like maybe a couple days but hes in jacksonville basically full time. so i was like then what u saying jim overdorf is the GM. hes like how u know that. i said well hes the finance guy so it has to be him. he said he was surprised that i knew the name of overdorf i told him with a chuckle im a little hardcore when it comes to the bills.
after that we talked a bit about how to get foot into door into NFL management side of things he liked my idea i wont share and i told him ill let him and his buddy do their thing and didnt want to take up anymore of his time.
on the whole even though he wasnt that good as our coach mularky was a real nice guy and was more then willing to talk bills football for the 15-20 minutes we talked.
