I gotta say what a great pickup Zubrus is!!! Great in the corners, not afraid to hit and he never lay back, his motor is always going! Hats off to the front office for this one!

He's been a great pickup! He just needed time to gel with the team and fit in. Now he's making the guys around him better and he's doing great at getting physical and getting to the puck.
I love this trade and would love to get him extended if we are going to lose either Drury or Briere.

he's been a great addition.
I loved that play yesterday when the defender was at the blue line with the puck on the power play- Zubrus couldn't get the puck from him so he just shoved the guy out of the zone- puck and all. It's a small example but those are the kinds of plays he makes.Comment

yeah, being with Ovechkin kinda shadowed him, and ironically, in Washington they didn't play him towards his style of play, which is up close along the boards physical puck possession... so...Comment
