if Donahoe were still the GM you might be onto something.
If Marv does something that dumb, I hope the Bills don't sell one ticket this year.
(assuming we keep the 12th pick- if we trade down or trade back into the 1st round, this no longer applies)
Hey TD drafted evans I didnt like the pick but it was a good oneOriginally Posted by OpIv37
doesnt make up for the others but just saying

Bills need a legitimate #2 WR..........what happens to the offense if Evans goes down?

I 'm the new Mike Mayock-OLB-Jon Beason the Bills 1st rd pick at # 12
Bmax
There are WR's all over the place in this draft. I could see one with one of our 3rd rounders or in Round 4.
bills will draft a WR no later than the 76th pick... Jarrett, Bowe, Meachem or Rice... But not Ginn.Originally Posted by clumping platelets
I understand the Bills kind/sorta need a legitamate #2 receiver, but we really, really need a freakin' LB.
McGee, Clements, Henry, Schobel, and Evans were good TD picks.Originally Posted by mikemac2001

Mike Williams was a good pick by TD and most fans wanted either Williams or McKinne. Was it TDs fault Williams turned out to be a bust?
Draft a franchise QB that X-Era would be proud to put in his user name for the next 13 years.
I wouldn't love it, because we need help at RB and LB more, but imagine the pure blinding speed with Evans and Ginn, with JP's ability to throw it down field. . .
Let's at least give Whaley a chance.
yeah, but what happens to the offense if Anthony Thomas goes down? and who is our third starting LB right now beyond Crowell and Ellison?Originally Posted by clumping platelets
I think LB and RB are glaring needs, whereas #2 WR is a little further down on the list.
that said, if we traded for Michael Turner I'd be very pleased if we took a WR in the 2nd.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
Who says Marv drafts for needs? You really think Whitner was the most pressing need? He wasn't the best player on the board: Leinart was. The most pressing need was Bunkley or Ngata. Obviously Marv doesn't follow the trend. He's going to draft Ted Ginn.
As good as Evans is, I have to suggest that he isn't a #1 type receiver. We need a go-to, possession type receiver to free Evans up, meaning Evans does not lead in number of catches, but rather, yards.
I agree. That's why I felt Ted Ginn doesn't make sense if you guys go WR, but you don't know with Marv.Originally Posted by andyxc71

the kid is a football player, he knows the ins and outs of the game (his dad was his along with troy smith and even donte whitner coach going into Ohio State) he has great speed, acceleration, hands, big play ability. Hey it would be better than drafting Flowers or Williams again lol!
Ted Ginn would be such a waste at 12 when we so obviously need a RB or LB in the worst way. If Willis is there and we don't take him then Marv has lost his marbles.
SUPER MARIO PLEASE COME TO BUFFALO!!!!
If we do 'reach' again - than Ginn Jr. would be a prime candidate at #12.Originally Posted by OpIv37
Going to be interesting to see what happens regardless, especially if Peterson, Hall and Willis are all gone by the time we pick.
