The only thing I can think of right now is "overly talented"
They've relied on bein more skilled to win all year long... but it's the playoffs now, grit, determination, and heart win games and series this time of year.

Let's give the Rangers some credit too. They are playing perfectly.
No doubt the Sabres need to pick it up. But this is not just on them.

I'm not over reacting.... I didn't say they're done, it's over, they can't win the series. They seriously need to re-evaluate what they are doing however. Skill alone is not going to win this for them in my opinion, so they need to stop relying on simply that. The defense and Miller have played quite well, they've only given up 4 goals in essentially 7 and a half periods over these two games, but the offense is looking pathetic to say the least... and yes, the Rangers have a little something to do with that as well.
LOL, some of you guys are pretty funny. It is a tough series. If it makes you feel better, go and look at last year's first round against Philly.
To show up and play playoff hockey for the last 10 minutes of the game showed they can do it and proves they played with no heart the first 50 minutes.

The people that say it is over or they are soft are over-reacting. The people who expect them to win every game 5-1 are over-reacting.

It's only overreacting if this is the first time I've said it. I said this during the season! Go find my posts...it's not an overreation...it's a fact!
If you don't think that this team is soft than you seriously don't know hockey. Look at the players that have dissappeared. Briere, Hecht, Afinagenov, Vanek, Roy, etc. Yes, no matter how it hurts to hear it...this team is soft. Very talented, but so were the Ottawa Senators the last few years, but they lost. Why? Because they were soft. I know hockey...I know what I'm watching and it doesn't matter that I'm a Sabres fan. The fact is, this team isn't built for the playoffs and they need to hustle every shift of every game to win. They're not doing that and are now in deep s**t because of it.
Saying the same crap over and over again does not make it a fact.
Laugh, but I've been right so far. None of you want to hear or accept it, but this team has showed nothing this series and pretty much was awful last series. They walked over the Islanders because of talent, this series the other team wants it more. You show me where I'm wrong and I will be happy to admit it.
I don't have to say it over and over (although maybe I have because I'm pissed right now..I apologize) but have you watched the game? Please tell me what kind of effort you are seeing?

Miller has been the only constant all series.
They certainly were a soft team vs Toronto last month.
They are playing poorly this past week- but after all the comebacks this season you want to fold like a cheap lawn chair and call them soft?

Miller has been awesome and it is too bad that his teammates are blowing such a great series by him.
For one, I am seeing a fantastic effort by the Rangers. They are playing light's out. They deserve a ton of credit.
I see a Sabres team that is putting forth an effort, but are off their game and are being out-coached (as much as I like Lindy). I also see a Sabres team that is way too confidant and did not respect the Rangers enough.
I also see a Swedish goaltender standing on his head.
The series is not just about the Sabres play. It is also about the Rangers play.
Look at the predictions for the series. Most had the Sabre in 6.
BTW, the Sabres outshot the Rangers tonight.
