Send me some wings!
I know nothing about him. Anyone?
Bills Agree To Terms With Veteran CB Webster
Looking to add more of a veteran presence to their stable of cornerbacks, the Bills agreed to terms with eight-year veteran Jason Webster Monday.
Webster, who made a free agent visit to Buffalo last week, brings a welcome dose of experience to a Bills cornerback contingent that aside from Kiwaukee Thomas and Terrence McGee does not possess an inordinate amount of time on the field.

I have no idea who he is, but we lack depth and experience at CB so it can't hurt to see what he's got.

He was a free agent because Atlanta cut him.
The Falcons wanted better depth at corner and used TWO draft picks this APril on corners; Chris Houston in the second, and David Irons in the 6th.
He's been injured in three of his last four seasons.
I remember when he came into the league in 2000, he was a second round pick by SF. never played up to his ability.
Scouting report on him is he's fast and good in coverage; but doesnt match up well against big receivers, develops "bad habits" and often plays without confidence.

He has some solid #s. He certainly can't hurt to have!

Worth a look.
Maybe he can beat out Greer for #4 and make the team. Can't see him doing better than that though.
That scouting report actually makes me feel better about him than when I read the other thread on him. He's short, but not tiny and he has decent body mass for his height. Atlanta cut this month, but he started for them until he got injured last year. If he's not completely uncoachable, perhaps the Bills canget enough out of him that this could be a worthwhile pickup. I'd still like to see what Bassey can do in training camp and preseason.Originally Posted by patmoran2006

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
beeen with atl for awhile nothing special just some depth which i will take...
He has experience as a starter and is a better CB today than Greer and maybe Thomas. But hes never gonna be a stud in this league.Originally Posted by MTBillsFan
How much will this cost towards our cap to cash? This should be a 5 million dollar signing to get within the designated limits of cap spending for the Bills.
hes actually pretty good when healthy so he could turn out to be a steal.
