All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I have never posted or read anything over there on the BB.com forums (just noticed the thread title while at the site), are they any good?
I just couldnt believe the title of that thread. I suppose there is a slim chance that he somehow doesnt make the team, but we spent our 4th round pick on him and HE BETTER MAKE THE $%&!ING TEAM!
I see us keeping Lynch, A-Train, Wright and Scobey (for special teams) at RB. Wright is a big, powerful back who can catch the ball out of the backfield.
I think we not only keep him, but he plays some as well.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
If Wright plays well in the pre-season and passes A-Train on the depth chart, I would say that A-Train might be cut first and could be beat out by Shaud Williams, since the #3 or 4 RB role is better suited to be a good ST with return ability.

Honestly reading anything on those forums is a waste, the threads that are allowed to be created there are ridiculous.

For some reason I would be sad to see A-Train go. Perhaps because he was kindof the anti-Willis? Underhyped and was capable, while McGahee was overhyped and incompetent (in more ways than one). He runs hard, and runs downhill, but i see your point. Id rather have Wright than Thomas.

It must be fact, if it's on a Bills message board (sarcasm).
Chris Brown says the coaches love the guy. He'll be on the team, barring injury.

are you sure they weren't talking about MANNY Wright, the DT who already got cut?

"Could he be the "thunder" that we need, I'll be honest I think he is gonna be a beast for us. I think he will continue to bulk up and be a monster. But that being said will this 4th rounder make our team? And not just on the practice squad?... I'll be honest with everyone, i want to buy a custom Wright jersey, and want to know if this will be money well spent or not?"
I think it's the BB.com message board that doesn't accept words like "idiot" and "moron," instead automatically changing them to something else. How, then, would most of us even communicate on that board?

Agreed Jan. It's nearly impossible not keeping Wright. If anything swap out the junk we had for the newbies.
My only concern with Wright is that he really never faced touch rushing Ds in college. So he's a little bit more of a craps shoot than many people think IMO. If he turns into a serviceable backup to replace Thomas, who's likely gone after this season IMO, then we can consider it a good thing. And who knows, perhaps Wright turns into the monster RB with Lynch failing in that way and serving as the backup. As long as the team's interests are served who cares although that would be tremendously ironic.
Either way, for a 4th rounder to get cut is unusual to say the least. I can see either Ah You or Schouman not making the 53-man though.
