Vegas: Bills over / under to win 6 games - Double your money

Vegas has set this over / under on us to win 6 games this season, we're at +100 on the over 6. So what that means is every dollar that you put on the Bills, you will get a dollar back or double your money if the Bills win 7 or more.

I am seriously considering flying out to Vegas and laying $50K down on the over, for real. We had 5 games last year that we lost by 3 points and almost had the worse offense in the league. Almost all the home games are sold out or close and the place will be rocking. We are going to win at least 5 games at home and I see 2 more on the road as a lock. Money in the bank, shorty what you think?

i would never put 50k on something like that because jp and evans could get hurt in the first game by a fluke and your screwed, but i would drop a few hundred on that in a heartbeat.

That's why it's called gambling, it's a risk. Main players of teams that we play can get hurt as well, so the odds wash all of that out. Keeping things equal, we are better than last year and have some gamers on our team. We also gained a defensive presence in POZ and a additional Offense presence in Lynch.

Sportsbook.com has it, I will be going over for 1K. 6 wins is a push, 7 gets you the money. Now is the time to make the bet because if the offense looks really good in camp and preseason the line could move to 6.5 games.

I think your right, I will make arrangements before camp. I cannot put that type of money into a online place, it has to be done at a physical place of business. I also would rather pay tax on any winnings as to not have a federal investigation at a later point see what I made, how and potentially didn't report it.

I agree skooby. No way in hell I would put that kind of money in an offshore, I need the tickets in hand.
I have a friend out there right now looking into the various books and the o/u on the bills. So far all 6 wins at various money lines. If he finds a 5.5 somewhere I'll be on the next plane.

I have used Sportsbook for about 6 years and never had a problem getting paid, at times I've had several thousand in my account. They will put it back into your bank account or mail you a check within two days. Trust me when I say it is easy, too easy. They have this 100K challenge where you put in $25 and have to pick 13 games against the spread from a list of about 25 games. They use all the NFL games that week and selected NCAA games. It was the second week of the 04 season and I had 12 of 13 games, lost the MNF game. 1 measly game away from 100K. Waaaaaaah.

Ya know the difficulty of our early schedule is what is keeping the number so low. I just think this team will win a few of those close games that we lost last year. I believe we will win six or more, but playoffs are a long shot to be sure.

It seems like we see a post like this every season and how this is a sure bet if you bet the over on the Bills, and how everybody is going to make a ton of money because Vegas is stupid and this is such a sure bet.

I think last year was 8 games. Not sure what the year before was. For the last 3 years in a row this kind of post came up we never hit the over. There must be some really broke people in here right now.

It's one thing to be optimistic apart from reason. It's entirely another to be foolish.

Our schedule, due to the fact that we're gonna have a defense capable of being pushed all over the field, coupled with an offense possessing only one proven weapon, a QB lacking a solid short game, and a mystery-meat RB running behind a very questionable OL after LT and LG, has us playing 8 teams up front all better than we are.

While it's nice and "optimistic" to think we're going to do whatever someone would want, and while discussing it is one thing but plunking down a ton of money is another, where we are going to come up with wins in the first eight games is a real mystery. I'd say if we win two of those games we'll be in good shape. So unless one thinks that we finish the second half going 5-3, ...
