Jets not interested in WR Robinson

Jets | Not Interested In Robinson - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
14:00 PT: New York Jets GM Terry Bradway said the team is not interested in Chicago Bears WR Marcus Robinson, at this time. "Again, maybe at some point in time that would be visited, but not right now," said Bradway.

Maybe this will make him a cheaper option for us?

Not a lot. He's had a back injury that lingered on for more than one season. But he is supposedly close to 100% now.

This guy put up some serious #'s as a #1 on a crappy team when healthy. He is a big, fast dude, we should definitely sign him if its at the right value.

Don't trade for him, wait for the Bears to cut him. If healthy he could easily match what Price did last year.

He's big and fast like Moulds. I don't think he would be asking for alot of money so I think a look at this guy would be smart.

            He's not that fast anymore.

He blew out a knee 2 years ago, and really didn't do much last year.

If he came cheap, he would seem to have enormous upside. He put up huge numbers (before his injuries) with average, at best, qbs throwing to him (McKnown I think??). I wouldn't even mind sending Chicago a late pick for him (6th round).

Supposedly, the Bears are shopping him for a 7th, but he has a pretty big cap number since he signed a big contract right after his one good year.

He looks like Keyshawn now, a tall guy with a big loping stride that can't get away from anyone anymore. I'd pass.
