    Romo's amazing scramble

When Tony Romo began chasing a snap that flew over his head, two thoughts raced through his mind.

"Don't give up a touchdown," he said, "and don't get killed."

After making things worse by knocking the ball farther away, Romo finally grabbed it 33 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Yet instead of falling on the ball or throwing it away, Romo took off running.

    And running. And running.

"That was a trick play we were working on," coach Wade Phillips said, laughing.

Well I am glad someone on their team found it funny.

        Run Forrest!
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

"Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

A scrambling QB can win games?

I wouldn't call Romo a scrambling QB. He is a mobile QB, but his bread-and-butter is throwing the ball.

He ran for 102 yards all last season. He has run for 71 yards this year.

            Fran Tarkenton he isn't.
