    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3072476

MINNEAPOLIS -- Max McGee, the unexpected hero of the first Super Bowl and a longtime challenge for Hall of Fame coach Vince Lombardi, died Saturday after falling from the roof of his home, police confirmed. He was 75.
Police were called to the former Green Bay receiver's Deephaven home around 5:20 p.m., Sgt. Chris Whiteside said. Efforts to resuscitate McGee were unsuccessful.
McGee was blowing leaves off the roof when he fell, according to news reports.

    How awful.
    to his family.
I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!

In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.
"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"
    Optyimus Ignorus Realityious!

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
    - John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
    when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac

I know a lot of people older than that, that still want to do everything themselves. Most of them can, because they're still very active. It wouldn't surprise me to find my 82 yr old MIL on her roof. My Nana was the same way at 88.

I'm alittle late to this one, but its really a shame to go like that. Unfortunate accident.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends
