I am getting sick of this. Why the hell are the officials not doing there job. On the goal by Staal, he knocked miller over and while he was on him he knocked the puck in with his stick. Also there was no high sticking call on the play were Kalinin got injured. These officials suck and they need to adress this. We shouldve beat Mont, COL, and CAR, but we didnt have the chance to because of the dumb ass officials.
I would have agreed against Montreal but tonight officials can't be blamed for tonights game, they just sucked.
Buffalo might have sucked tonight but the refs sucked even more.
Being there first hand I'd have to agree that the refs were rather ****ty. I counted at least 4 obvious tripping calls that should have been made on Carolina that didn't go down, and in the 3rd period it was just nonstop Sabre after Sabre in the box...
Refs? I thought those we're canes fans.
It really seems like they hate the Sabres. However, we are far from the Sabres of 05/06 like I had hoped.... I feel sick.

The NHL hates us ever since "No Goal" we're a small market team and it probably ticked them off that we were so great last year that probably made them moreI just wish they would stick to the rules that they enforced after they came back from the lock-out what happened to the New NHL!

Ok, perhaps in football you can blame the officials if you lose by 4 but this is.......say it with me.......HOCKEY!!
When you're constantly shorthanded for the better part of the period and their goals come on the power play or right as the power play is ending and you're guy hasn't made it back into the play yet??? Now granted, the Sabres played poorly in the 3rd, but when you're trying to kill penalty after penalty, it's kind of difficult to do much.
I agree that the refs are making bad calls, i went to the Canes first game of the season, and there were plenty of non calls against the Canadiens, and crappy calls against us.

The first goal in the 3rd put them up 3-2... then it was a PPG and another goal right at the very end of Vanek's penalty, that made it 5-2 and it was pretty much over at that point.
Sounds like bitterness at poor play to me. Just saying. I just find it hard to believe that a 4 goal loss could be blamed on the refs??Talk to me about it after you actually watch the game

I'm not blaming it on the refs solely... I'm saying they didn't really help the cause very much.
