I would have to say he was just joking. Even student athletes have to score over an 1100 on their SATs to go to school at UF. When you go from speech to print it is hard to explain the context of the comment.

He may have been joking but I don't think so or he wouldn't have made an idiotic comment about no black guys in London. I am a Gator fan and it pains me to say that I think he is an idiot!

Dude, seriously…he’s having some fun with you guys. That’s Channing. He cracks his own jokes that only he gets to laugh at.
Here are some facts about Channing. He scored a 30 on the wonderlic. He was a member of the National Honors Society in college. He had a validated 3.5 GPA at University of Florida, and I believe he graduated early.
