    Freakin London....

What a waste of a game!

    It's Raining
Stadium is half empty (after selling 90,000 tickets)
    Field is in terrible condition
Fans running out onto the field before kickoffs
Fans bringing in noisemakers (Whistles and airhorns)
    TV Coverage is horrible.

Maybe the NFL will wake up and realize that noone outside of the US gives a crap about American football!

Not likely. They really should at least keep the games in North America.

Did the Dolphins swim there or did they fly?

Fans running out onto the field before kickoffs and bringing in noisemakers (Whistles and airhorns) is traditional for British soccer games. Do you expect them to sell hot dogs and sell American beer as well?

There were a lot of games by Redsucks where they "sold out" but stadium was half empty and Bills stadium looks half empty when Bills fans are out looking for beer so complaining about this makes no sense.

Sellin 90000 tickes is a huge deal, thats awesome for a game in Britain. And everything else you complain about is because you either dont understand Soccer or have choosen to ignore any of the pregame to this game. The TV coverage is beyond bad though but thats FOX fault. I think this has been a huge success, good for Goodell, and the NFL.

I bet marketing NFL football to people overseas would work if two good teams were playing the game.

that's what you have to deal with when trying to gain entry to a market.

I'm pissed this is the only 1 p.m. game I get. This matchup has been horrible.

Number 1, the Fins are one of the most cheered for teams in England.

Number 2, nobody knew how bad the Fins year would be going when the game was scheduled.

Number 3(not directed to you RS), if this is gonna turn into a Fin bashing thread, then it will need moved to the smack zone soon. It should be in the NFL zone as it is anyway

It won't catch on over there IMO. Let's face it - football is/has evloved into a TV sport. It revolves around commercial breaks, instant replays, etc. Soccer is the exact opposite - no breaks, always in motion, more fluid overall.

While I don't like watching soccer personally if that is what you are used to I just don't see them liking the pace of american football.

Agreed. I'm surprised that the NFL didn't give them the Patriots/Colts game. That would be the perfect marque matchup!
