I wanted you all to know that tonight (WED, Oct 31) I will be hosting WGR's 7-9pm shift. A live call-in show. Many of you are aware that the station has been using different hosts for the past month or so to fill that time slot. As soon as it became available, I applied for it. WGR has always been my "dream job," (since I was a kid......and still is) and now I will have the opportunity to make the most of it.
Hopefully, if everything goes well and I fit what they are looking for, it will be the first night of many on the air in Buffalo.
I'm not asking you to call, really just listen, and give feedback on what you hear (both good and bad). But of course, if you have the urge or feel there is something you'd really like to say, feel free, but please remember a few things:
--You know me as "Coach" on here.....but please just refer to me as "Sal." WGR already has a "Coach." He earned that title a long time before I did.
--Make your call relevant to the discussion at hand. Don’t just ask some random question about some sport that hasn’t been talked about all night. This will mostly be a show regarding the Bills, and especially their QB situation, but will also have some Sabres hockey talk and maybe a little more “added” discussion.
--Don’t be mad if I say something that makes you look like an idiot…….or gets you upset. It aint personal.....just business .
--Of course do not say anything that can get yourself in trouble, either.
I understand it is Holloween and you may be out with the kids (or yourself). But, remember the show runs a full two hours. And if you get any chance in that time period, listen in for a little while.
Just go to the station’s website. In order to listen live you must register your email address, which is quick and easy. Then just click the "Listen Live" button.
