    Trading Miller?

On Empire this morning, They said that the Sabres are listening to the fans by trying to get more talent in Buffalo to attract season ticket holders. One of the moves was to trade Ryan Miller for a scorer . Any rumors or thoughts on this subject?

Are they going actually get a star (right, I'm dreaming now) or some second rate player or in Sabre tradition and just trade him for a 2nd round pick next year?

if they're going to listen, they can start by getting rid of that overpriced sluggo that goes by the name of zhitnik.we're paying $3 million to a guy that scores 1 goal??we did that with a bum named gilmour too.

Shouldn't keeping Miller be an option?

But why keep 3 Young Goalie's with a lot of potential when we have skaters who can't score? Trading Norennen is a possibility with a veteran backup Biron. I like Miller, he could be a real superstar and that will give him time to finish college like he wants...

There ya go. I have nothing against Mika, but I think trading Miller would be a mistake. I'm sure Noronen would bring a good price.

I'd rather trade Biron or Noronen

I don't think they would trade Biron because he is more battle tested then Noronen. He has more experienced.

Just a gee whiz question, do you think the new owners would change the uniforms? I think they might bring back the blue and gold style in some way as the 3rd uni. What do you think?

It's hard to get a good players for players labeled "with potential" We would not get a proven player only a player "with scoring potential" in return.

I agree Winfield. I think Ruff made a mistake towards the end of last season by playing Mika (who had a kick ass game) and then benching him the next. They needed to ride his hot streak.
