Let's see if he can go 1-6 down the stretch.

Great news indeed!!!
Holy ****! Cameron has brain cells?
Beck should have been starting a month ago.
The 3 times I saw him play at BYU last year, he was very impressive. Deadly accurate.
Anonymity is an abused privilege, abused most by people who mistake vitriol for wisdom and cynicism for wit
he did have more INTs than TDs in his pre-season stuff all those months ago, but it seems like his strong suit was accuarcy in college, and after some of the QBs that have been here, it's refreshing to have one with that quality for obvious reasons, lol
He's going to have his struggles, so I hope some of the more fickle immature fans won't be calling for his head when he doesn't throw for 800 yards and 10 TDs in his first game
If hes your man of the future might as well let him take his lumps now. Better now than next season.
I agree now Devin, if Green was healthy I could see keeping him on the bench to learn, but you saw lemon last week, he is not getting it done.Originally Posted by Devin

He's got an arm too and he has a very fast release.Beck should have been starting a month ago.

Anbd he is supposed a smart QB.
One thing I noticed about Beck in the preseason is his poise, he seemed calm most of the time.
if all that is true, it's absolutely ridiculous that he hasn't even seen the field until now. i mean, there's very little to lose and quite a bit to gain, i would think.
Agreed, cant wait to see what he can do..... And at this point I would much rather lose with a second round rookie then a journeymen backup.Originally Posted by Devin
I just want to see what the kids got..... I don't expect too much from him right away as his offensive weapons are a little limited with Chambers gone and Ronnie out while facing a pretty good D in the Eagles but he can still show "flashes". That's what I'm looking for at this point. Not a great game with a QB rating over 100, the dude is going to make some rookie mistakes, I just want to see a play here and there that makes you go "whoa, this kid can play", the consistency will take time.
it's about time- Miami's season was tanked weeks ago and Lemon isn't the answer. If I were a Fish fan, I'd want Beck in there taking his lumps now so he's ready to start next season.
As a Bills fan, it will be funny to see him making his 4th or 5th start in December in Buffalo.
Why would that be funny Op??
I think Op might have mean more funny ironic as the game could also mark Trent Edwards' 4th or 5th start as well.Originally Posted by LtFinFan66

Well everything I've heard is that Beck didn't do much to get on the field sooner.
If Beck wasn't ready after a bye that should tell you something.
I expect him to look worse than Lemon tomorrow.
It wasn't about not being able to beat out Lemon.Originally Posted by HHURRICANE
Lemon had more experience than Beck.
I expect Philly to blitz alot, and I expect Beck to have some struggles.
But Philly's pass D is nothing special so he could play solidly.
