                    Since I don’t grant attention to attention whores, I’m not going to name a nominee for this award. But I will list some (hypothetical) characteristics that would earn it. It would be someone who …

                    -- Literally begs for rep like a panhandler. The rep he does have would come from charity and frivolous rep threads, not earned. He’d be the welfare queen of rep.
                    -- Throws a crying tantrum when he doesn’t start game threads.
                    -- Claims to have inside information that turns out to be BS.
                    -- Plagiarizes other boards.
                    -- Tries to buy friends by giving away employee discount codes.
                    -- Posts two- or three-word replies in every thread (that add nothing to the topic) so his name appears all down the side of the forum page.
                    -- Starts non-Bills threads in the Bills forum when he knows better.
                    -- Starts his own awards thread.

                    If someone did those kinds of sad, pathetic, insecure things, he’d get my vote.
