New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer became the fifth candidate to interview for the Baltimore Ravens' head coaching vacancy.
Schottenheimer met for several hours Monday with team officials, including owner Steve Bisciotti, general manager Ozzie Newsome and president Dick Cass.
Schottenheimer's father, longtime coach Marty Schottenheimer, has also been contacted by the Ravens' search committee. However, he prefers not to be interviewed until the later phases of the search to find a replacement for fired coach Brian Billick.
Marty has enough experience that he should not have to go thru fishing interviews.
