All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Couldn't think of anything else that would work with Cleveland. There was a Cleveland Force?
Yeah, the Force was what their soccer team was called before they became the Crunch.
You coulda gone really old school and gone with the Cleveland Panthers...originally when the Browns came into the AAFC the paper held a poll of what to name the team. Panthers is what won.
Apparently someone owned a semi-pro team with that name, wanted money from Marty McBride - original Browns owner - for naming rights. McBride said no and the team was named after Paul Brown instead. Paul Brown was a football God in Ohio, well before his days in Cleveland.

That's cool. I always wondered how the Browns got there nickname.
That's why I didn't sign up again. I thought about it but afterwards I was unsure if it was worth it in fear of this exact thing. If this league even gets started it will probably fold in a year or two.

Actually, we have but one more spot to fill, and I'm working on that. Most of the people we have that are coming back are the ones who were active. Time will tell if the new people will be active or not, and if they aren't, they will be replaced.
If the BZFL isn't your thing, rumor has it that there's a few other forums 'round here to check out.
This is a thread for those who are interested in signing up for the new BZFL. We will get started 'bout the middle of March, or whenever the new player rankings for the software we use is released.
Hi ... I had to drop out late last year but my travel sched. is back to normal. If you still have an opening I'd like to play. I'm just a little confused as to immediate next steps.
