He did mention at one time there being 24 but we have yet to consistenly keep 20 so he scrapped the idea.

Well, if you're interested, you'd make 22, so yeah, I'd go for a 24 team league. The other 2 leagues I run or co-run are both 24 team leagues, and I like that format better.
