I agree with Chris. Could you imagine what a distraction that would be having people moving all around behind the camera when you're live on the air.
I've met him in person and he's a pretty cool dude. I think it takes a lot to get the guy upset.
that is some funny stuff. "15 F*****N Minutes"
I'm going to guess he needs a vacation.
I work in TV and Ive seen some blowups...but that one tops em' all! Especially b/c it was Berman!
I think that was filmed 7 years ago, so lets hope he's taken at least a couple breaks since then.Originally Posted by andyxc71
I also have no problem with what Chris did. And that's pretty tame compared to what I've heard Martha Stewart do. They're all like that if someone does something stupid.Originally Posted by RedEyE
Speaking of, has anyone heard that clip of Casey Kasem where he goes OFF about doing some upbeat song after a sad tribute piece? It's hilarious! But understandable.
Thread of the day. give this guy some rep!!!!!
Good for Boomer...That was pretty funny.

I went to school for Radio and TV and did some work as on air talent and he is 1000% right. When the on air sign is on you don't move, speak, or anything else that could possibly make noise. You may think reading a teleprompter is easy but think about watching a movie with sub-titles and how much you miss, now take that and scroll it down a screen while you try and read it. I requires concentration and seeing movement out of the corner of your eye breaks that concentration.

I didn't come here to fight, I hate fighting. Life is way too short to spend it on fighting! Go fight with yourself, one of you will eventually win!
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
WTF!
I love it!! I like Chris Berman and I understand what he's dealing with.
I saw this has already been posted. it wouldve been funnier if they let the clip roll until they were back on the air..... ****ing Jesus Christ..... and We're Back.
Shows Berman's a regular guy. I've had many, many moments like that, some of them after reading posts on here.Originally Posted by HHURRICANE
