The Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo News are giving fans the opportunity to bring home an exclusive collection of their favorite players in the Buffalo Sabres 2007-08 Officially Licensed Pin Collection.

This collection contains a full-color, glossy collector's album and 22 exclusive pins featuring images of Sabres players. The colorful album is home to this exciting pin collection featuring all your favorite Sabres players.

There are two ways to start your collection:


* Be one of the first 5,000 fans to enter the Sabres game at HSBC Arena on Saturday, February 23 to receive your FREE collector’s album.

Starting Monday, February 25, a new Sabres pin will be on sale each day at participating

I doubt it will be like last year were you had to get up at 4am or earlier to get the coins because they only made so many and by the time people got to the stores they were sold out because they made it so the fans could get as many as they wanted to buy. If you missed one you had to order it from The Buffalo News and the line was out the door.

Does any one really think people are going to get in line at 4 in the morning to get these pins? last year the team was hot and every one was chomping at the bit to get them.

If you got the coins last year, why would you get the pins this year? What a waste of money.

I even think they're the same pictures on both the coin and pin hahaha. The internet is killing newspaper providers world-wide so they need to think of ideas like this to get people buying.
