All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
He's generally listed as a DE. Scout.com has him as the 5th best DE and the 21st best player overall, while GBN has him as the 3rd best DE and 10th best player overall.
But at 291, he's more of a 'tweener or even a DT.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

If he can keep his speed/agility at that weight, he'd be a scary DE prospect.
If you add 41lbs you've got to be Superman to retain your speed.
An ironically this may raise concern amongst teams that someone's weight can baloon so quickly. Its not like adding 14lbs
He may have swallowed a couple of small children.

I've just taken this from the Combine report at MSN Foxsports
"3:55 p.m. - Florida defensive end Derrick Harvey weighed in at 271 pounds at the Combine. He told reporters that he believes he can have an impact on the NFL in his first year. Based on what he's hearing, he believes he'll be a 4-3 defensive end, which is what he prefers, "so I can rush the passer," he said."
