BERNIAC!
Good thing Miller wasn't an All-Star this year or they probably would have traded him too.
They must have someone sitting there and waiting to type in changes.Originally Posted by SabreEleven

He fills a need and looks like a decent player. But they could have gotten more. There was a lot of teams interested in Campbell.Originally Posted by Dr.Lecter

Yes there were other teams interested, but that doesn't mean there deals were any better. A first round draft pick is nothing to scoff at.Originally Posted by Mikey82
Contract expires but he is a RFA in June.
It is when you don't have a scouting staff anymore. 1st rounders are definitely hit or miss in the NHL.Originally Posted by hydrosmak
Well...we'll have to see how this effects our play.
Face it, we weren't too hot WITH Campbell because we couldn't score...so this better pay some divedends because I really don't think Sabres fans are going to settle for anything less than the playoffs considering all the moves. You don't make moves to get worse, you make them to get better, and it seems like all the moves we've made over the past year has made us considerably worse.
And you know what offers were made?Originally Posted by Mikey82

At least he can fight. Maybe this guy has the toughness that this team has been lacking since we lost Grier.....
Yeah, this guy does look like he's meant to be a Sabre.
Exaclty what we need more of is toughness and grit and some fight. We have sorely lacked it.Originally Posted by Mikey82
He'll be changing his uniform number.
