Good thing Miller wasn't an All-Star this year or they probably would have traded him too.

Look who it says he plays for.
They must have someone sitting there and waiting to type in changes.

BTW, Bernier is a very nice player who very much fills a need on this team.

He fills a need and looks like a decent player. But they could have gotten more. There was a lot of teams interested in Campbell.

Yes there were other teams interested, but that doesn't mean there deals were any better. A first round draft pick is nothing to scoff at.

It is when you don't have a scouting staff anymore. 1st rounders are definitely hit or miss in the NHL.

    Re: CAMPBELL TRADED TO SHARKS

Well...we'll have to see how this effects our play.

Face it, we weren't too hot WITH Campbell because we couldn't score...so this better pay some divedends because I really don't think Sabres fans are going to settle for anything less than the playoffs considering all the moves. You don't make moves to get worse, you make them to get better, and it seems like all the moves we've made over the past year has made us considerably worse.

And you know what offers were made?

    You are over-reacting.

At least he can fight. Maybe this guy has the toughness that this team has been lacking since we lost Grier.....

Exaclty what we need more of is toughness and grit and some fight. We have sorely lacked it.
