I could make just as big of an argument that some of the longtime posters are bigger *******s than the newer ones.

As for taking the mod status lightly... BS! For over a year now I've made multiple efforts to try to help this place out... be it taking on Fat Tony duties, or joining the staff to help with news because I wanted to be a Mod and help try to make this place better and was told I needed to prove myself first. For whatever reason that still hasn't happened (I'm sure my argument with NBF over some issues didn't help any), but it doesn't mean I want any less to make this place better. Once becoming a mod was on the line, I understand there was a need for more seriousness, but does that mean that we can't have ANY fun along the way either?

Not to mention that you seem so overly concerned about how important and serious being a mod is that you don't even want the job... then what in the blue hell was the point of you running?

Yes there are some aholes in all walks of life, there are some involved in this contest. Never said their weren't. I am just tired of people like The Answer ruining this board. Being a mod doesn't make anything better, we are fortunate that most of the mods are good people, but more doesn't mean better, and you aren't even the one up for the mod spot- MBB is. Do we really need more policing on the boards, or a change in the way things are handled? I don't think more mods are needed, that is why I ran so I could do some good without adding more power hungry people to the problem. That is why I am running.
