I hate to say it, but Gholston makes a ton of sense for them. They need pass rush help, and he could be a prototype 3-4 edge rusher.
Vernon Gholston.
Vernon Gholston.
I'll go with Gholston as well.
Here comes the first "reach" pick in the draft if it goes down like this...
Derrick Harvey DE/LB more fitted for the 3-4 system than Gholston.
Vernon Gholston
Gholston. I think they would love if Mcfadden fell to them though.
You'll have to give me some more here on this one. Harvey recently bulked up to over 270 and looks like the one of the two who is more likely to stay as a DE over becoming a 3-4 hybrid.Originally Posted by FunTimesYaY!

I just think overall he's a better fit in the 3-4 than Gholston.
I saw a lot of Gholston's play during the year and very limited amounts of Harvey in action though. But I really question how well Gholston is going to do at the next level and would personally stay away from him on draft day. Seems to be a guy who doesn't fully grasp what's going on around him but makes up for it with his freakish athletic ability. But that's just my opinion.

Gholston seems like the logical pick here.
Gholston

I have a strong feeling that Atlanta is going to upset the apple cart by taking McFadden instead of Ryan at 3, and Ryan falls to the Jets at 6.
