Should Phil be able to flip flop on a vote?

He sent shelby a PM asking her to change his vote saying he clicked the wrong button. I'm not starting this thread because our side lost the vote, I'm starting this thread because Phil takes the entire democratic process and throws it out the window.

You can't walk into a polling station and cast a ballot, go home and then realize you made mistake, call the polling station back and say "I'd like a do-over. I didn't mean to vote yes to_____? Can you take my ballot out and give me another one?"

I'd say Phil's vote should not be allowed at all. His vote should be srticken from the records all together.

What say you?

I say this is an online forum election... Not the real Presidential election, I guarantee you wouldn't have started this thread if it happened in the opposite direction.

I say it's an honest mistake. He knew it could be fixed so that is why he asked for it to be.

When voting in the real world, even if I was to screw up, I would never think about asking to have it changed.

IMO, if Phil wants the benefit of having a say in who the Zone President is, then he should man up and become an active member again.

Personally im fine with whatever shelby decides.

I will say in general you cant go back and change your vote in real elections, and while this is an ineternet game on a forum and it isnt "real life" if we take that stance then why bother with rules at all.

There were two choices, I mean come on it wasnt like he had to scroll through a page of candidates. In a race this tight, quite simply it matters because every vote counts and this could very well be a 1-2 vote type win for whomever.

Im ok with whatever, and regardless of which way this happened it has ntohing to do with who he voted for.

Why does Phil care who is Zone President anyways?

He took his ball and went home a while ago.

I say his vote shouldn't count regardless of who he meant to/actually did vote for.
