I think he will get traded before he gets released. I do not think GB wants Farve in the NFC North. I see Tampa and the New York Jets as places he would go. I heard rumors that his agent said he wants to go to a warm weather city and Carolina was mentioned by his agent but I just do not see the Panthers having the cap money plus the Panthers are Delhomme's team.

This just won't ever go away. ESPN is on the verge of officially becoming the "Bret Favre Network". The bottom line ticker already has a permanent category: "MLB, NBA, NFL, FAVRE . . .". I actually paused my DVR so I could point this out to my wife in an effort to support my angry diabribe. "Bret Favre, Bret Favre, Bret Favre, Bret Favre, Bret Favre."
I feel he's been a good QB. I'll even go so far as to say he's HOF bound without any argument. That said, with the level of coverage and hype this guy gets, in proportion to reality, he's definitely the most over rated player ever.

Personally I think Favre is one of the more overrated QB's in the history of the game. Yeah he's tough, he's got a big arm, etc..... but he's also one of the most inconsistent QB's in the league.
From what I've heard on ESPN, Gruden's offense is very similar to GB's, making the switch painless for Favre.
And that is a good reason why he will not be going to the Bucs. Let's face it, The Pack will not trade BF to any NFC team that might have the ability to bit them in the butt later on. That includes any NFC North team and any half-way decent team like the Bucs. I think that if BF does not play for the PACK, he will play for an AFC team or no team at all

Speaking of ridiculous things, I've even read that Miami was mentioned at the same time with Carolina for a landing spot. I'd think Miami is in the top 5 for less likely places for him to go--a young in transition o-line, young in transition receiving corps, etc. Plus we don't and aren't playing the west coast offense. The only thing of any ever so slight possibility is that Parcells likes the old experienced QBs.
