All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

My first year with ESPN. I started a league with half family and the rest coworkers.
I love it. Free live timing and scoring for football and hockey. I just don't understand some of their player ranking formulas and havn't found a key to explain it.

Other than that, no complaints!
I have a basketball and hockey league but was too late for football. I did a mock auction draft for basketball and it was awesome. I don't think I'll ever want to do another type of fantasy draft again. The free live scoring is a bonus on top because Yahoo has a problem with that.
If anyone hasn't tried an auction draft, I highly suggest it.
Instead of a set draft order everyone comes into the draft with a set amount (say 200) and each player takes a turn nominating someone. If you want that player, you have to outbid the others. So basically, nobody gets screwed over by the draft order and you have to be smart because you basically have a cap. On top of that, there is a strategy involved because when it's your turn to pick the player, you might want to pick someone you have no interest in, only to have the others spend the money on that person before they get to your guy.
I never got to that point but I would imagine you would have an incomplete roster. I know during football drafts many people filled their bench with $1 people so they could spend more on starters.
I'm doing terrible in this league, it's unreal. I don't even have one good goalie, let alone the two that most teams have. I also have a roto league on ESPN and it's a world of difference compared to this one.
Uh... How would you like Legacy and Osgood? My only chance in the G stats are saves. But then again when you're letting in 3-4 each game, how many saves am I going to get. Geesh.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't repeat myself.
