Cowboys owner Jones fined $25K for ref comments

New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton's pending appeal of a $15,000 fine for his criticism of game officials may have lost some momentum, because Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been fined $25,000 by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the same offense.

Jones was fined last week after he criticized referee Ed Hochuli for his overall performance following Hochuli's gaffe in Week 2 against the San Diego Chargers.

"Maybe the answer is to tell people like that, 'Keep that whistle out of your mouth,'" Jones said on his weekly radio show.

You think Jones gives a ****? He could wipe his ass with 25k each morning and not miss the lost money. Even though this was a little exaggerated I still bet you he could survive. 25k each morning is about 9millie in a year, still within his range. It would be like him signing another super star to his roster.

I hate Jerry Jones.

But, I support him here. Hochuli blew the call in the worst possible way and I'm glad Jones spoke out against him. Fortunately, Jones is uber-rich and the fine is nothing to him.
