Pretty sure he will take the 3 mill he'll get paid for the rest of his contract and enjoy some well deserved R&R.
The article on ESPN said he was terminated "without pay".
It's a good thing for Kiffin. The guy seems to have good potential to be a good coach. Time for him to move on, get a pro level assistance job under a good HC, and groom himself back up the right way.
