TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin has had surgery to repair a facial bone that was fractured in a helmet-to-helmet hit during last Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt isn't sure when his standout player will return, but he has been ruled out of Sunday's home game against the Buffalo Bills.
