    Burress accidentally shot

    New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress suffered an accidental gunshot wound Friday night in a club, according to multiple sources.

    Details of the incident weren't immediately available, but according to a source the wound was not considered life-threatening.

    Fox Sports.com reported that Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg and spent the night in the hospital.

    Probably cigarettes but it would be pretty interesting to see how many bullets have killed people.. Atleast 100 from the attacks in India, not to mention the wars that are going on in Afghanistan, Iraq and Darfur.

    I used to work with his sister in law, he was down in Charlotte looking for a house and getting treatment on his ankle last year.

    I heard a rumor that he was in the Bahamas when he was suspended for not showing up to a team meeting earlier this year, but he said it was a family emergency.

    Certainly we don't have all the facts yet, but I seriously doubt Burress has a concealed carry permit valid in New York City. Very, very few are issued.

    We don't have any laws against stupidity. I can't imagine how stupid you have to be to shoot yourself with your own gun. Be glad no one else was hurt and toss him in jail.
