    Bengals to meet Zellner

    By Kevin Goheen
    Post staff reporter

The Bengals are set to meet with unrestricted free agent defensive end Peppi Zellner of Dallas today as they continue head coach Marvin Lewis' quest to reshape the roster.
Zellner and Duane Clemons of Kansas City have been targeted by the Bengals as possible additions to a defense that went from finishing ranked ninth in the NFL in 2001 to a disappointing 17th last season, including 22nd against the run. The Bengals also gave up a league-high 456 points last season, although the offense and special teams contributed to that total as opponents had nine returns for touchdowns
