All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.

Dallas Cowboys running back Ennis Haywood was placed on life support Saturday after falling ill during the day, according to a published report.
The Dallas Morning News, quoting Haywood's sister-in-law, reported that Haywood began vomiting in his sleep during the early morning hours on Saturday and stopped breathing, prompting the family to call 911.
The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Dallas Cowboys tailback Ennis Haywood was on life support Sunday morning after becoming ill a day earlier and being rushed to a local hospital.
A spokesperson for the Medical Center of Arlington confirmed that Haywood, who participated in the team's mini-camp last weekend and was expected to vie for a spot on the roster in training camp, was admitted early Saturday unconscious and unresponsive. The spokesperson said Haywood's family requested the hospital release no further details of his condition.
Team officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
Haywood's sister-in-law, Angela Jernigan, told The Dallas Morning News that the player began vomiting in his sleep Saturday at about 4 a.m. and that he then stopped breathing two hours later, prompting the family to call 911.
Haywood, 23, signed with the Cowboys last spring as an undrafted college free agent from Iowa State, where he finished a standout career as the fifth-leading rusher in school history. He led the Cowboys in rushing during the preseason, carrying 31 times for 120 yards, and that earned him a spot on the Dallas practice squad.
A Dallas native, and a graduate of the city's Carter High School, he spent the entire '02 campaign on the practice squad, and re-signed with the Cowboys after the season.

"The cause of death at this time is unknown," she told the Associated Press. She said she doesn't know what Haywood was being treated for.
Haywood was taken to the hospital early Saturday after waking up feeling ill and vomiting, Iowa State director of media relations Tom Kroeschell told the Associated Press on Sunday. Kroeschell said he got the information about the former Cyclones player from the school's football coach, Dan McCarney.
Haywood participated in the Cowboys' three-day minicamp last week and was expected to compete for a roster spot at halfback....

Results of toxicology and tissue tests are expected in six-to-eight weeks, said Linda Anderson, spokesman for the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.

At an altar adorned with flowers and football uniforms from Dallas Carter High School, Iowa State University and the Cowboys, several pastors, coaches and teammates celebrated the 23-year-old player with the illuminating smile and a bold sense of style that led him to wear a red pinstripe suit to his first Iowa State game.
