All names the Redskins are pursuing. Why are they potential players with EVERYONE year after year. They have no cap room either

Several reason:

1) Because they traditionally overpay
2) Because they are hounded by the media due in part to the owner Snyder
3) Because the media is simply speculating which is a nice way of saying running their mouths about something they know nothing about.

They are media favorties like the Cowboys so all stories revolve around them.

I thought i saw somewhere that they only had about 8 millions in cap space. I hate its always the media darlings that are going to get this free agent or that one.

After the 4 million dollar increase the Redskins have 8 million dollars to spend. I can't imagine they will have much room to do anything.
