All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

How about the last 2 years? With Galloway being hurt last year he had an off year, unlike the other guys who were relatively healthy.
However, if you compare production over the last 2 years Moss/Welker/Galloway combined for 460 receptions for 5,993 Yards and 51 TDs. Over that same period Owens/Evans/Reed combined for 375 receptions for 5,448 Yards and 30 TDs.
Also, while Galloway hurt his foot last year and wasn't effective, the 3 years prior to that he averaged 67 receptions for 1,119 Yards (16.6 YPR) and 8 TDs. He missed one game over those 3 years, so I don't know if you can call him injury-prone.

Why not go back 3 years, seeing as how Owen had more TD's than even Moss over that timespan? How about 4 years?
The reason why I said last year is because it's a "what have you done for me lately" league and given Galloway's age and production last year, expecting his production to continue to drop-off isn't far-fetched. It's not like they're getting Galloway in his prime.

It's not like you are getting Owens in his prime, either. Galloway has been very productive. He was #1 WR productive for the 3 years prior to suffering his foot injury last year. Now he is healthy again and he will be a 3rd WR for the Pats. That is sick.
I said this was going to happen 2 weeks ago....This was the team JOEY had on his list...He will play as a 3rd down WR and a 4th WR or a WR to psread the field for RANDY....He wanted to play on a team that THROWS A TON, and team that wins......
Joey has always been a cool guy, but very unhappy he is playing in the AFC EAST...

Galloway is 37 and will be entering his 15th season, and is well past the age that WR's usually lose it. Given this and his production last year (and the foot excuse is a convenient one seeing as how he played in 9 games and had only 13 reception, 138 yards, and 0 TD's), expecting a whole lot out of him is expecting a lot.
As for Owens, he is 2 years younger and came off a highly productive season last year. He'd be where Galloway was in 2007.

The Pats were able to sign him because they promised him he'd be the 3rd WR, not just a 3rd down WR or the 4th WR.
