    Does anyone else feel it coming?

    The comeback win against Florida, Miller finally returning....

    This is it, people!

    It's the Buffalo sports late rally- you know, the one where they get hot at just the right time and almost make up for a season of mediocrity to get our hopes up, then come up just a little short at the last possible second to crush our spirits once again.

    Enjoy it, folks. This is the way up- the few enjoyable weeks of the season for Buffalo fans before reality once again hits us in the back of the head with a 2x4.

    Im rooting for you... Id love to see the B's play the Sabres in the first round
    I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
    "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
    You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
    It was all     true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
    He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can     mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

      I'd love for Buffalo to make the playoffs, period, but playing Boston in the first round would probably just give obnoxious Boston sports fans one more thing to hold over our heads.

        Bruins fans are still pure for the time being. If the B's get it together I am sure the bandwagon will crash.

            but that would be part of the let down.... maybe the Sabres do sneak into the playoffs, only to lose in the first round to a team that they were largely successful against in the regular season.

            One way or the other, these guys WILL find a way to let us down.

              Here's how I think the rest of the season will go. Ryan Miller will come back and the Sabres will put forth a REAL effort. They will win games. They will come within 2 points of a playoff spot, but in the end, they will lose and be just out of the playoffs. They will secure maybe the 11th or 12th spot in the draft. They will

                            We might not even get a chance. It was another ****ty off day for the Sabres. Both Florida and Montreal got 2 points. The Sabres are now 7 points behind.
