    Jevan Snead

    From WalterFootball.com:
    Jevan Snead*, Ole Miss
    Height: 6-3. Weight: 215.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.66.
Projected Round (2010): Top 25 Pick.

2/4/09: Along with Michael Oher, Greg Hardy and Peria Jerry, Jevan Sneed was a major reason for Ole Miss' recent success. Sneed threw for 2,762 yards, 26 touchdowns and 13 picks as a sophomore. He also had an 8.4 YPA. His completion percentage of 56.3 is his only blemish.

    Comments:
09/24/09- vs So Car- Maintains decent pocket presence. Shows command of the field at times. Doesn't have an overly strong arm, but it appears to be adequate. Doesn't have a quick release, but again it isn't slow. Could be a bad game, but hes shown inaccuracy on the deep outs and has thrown into double coverage. More inaccuracy on short slant. Off target all night.

Needs to show he has intangibles. Show me he can lead a team to a late win. Show me he can command the field consistently, for the bulk of a game. Show me he has outstanding leadership. I don't see that at this point.

    Summary:
Jevan Snead is the type of player who will intrigue teams because of his measurables. Snead had a very bad year and his draft status has plummeted as a result. His arm strength is very good and teams will be drawn to that. His size is good, and he has quick feet to move around in the pocket. The issue with Jevan is that he looked so inconsistent this year making horrible decisions and throws at times. His pocket presence looked very bad at times as well. Teams may really struggle with his bad decisions this year and wonder if he could ever be trusted to run the offense.
