1/5/09: Dennis Pitta debacled opposing defenses in 2008, registering 82 receptions, 1,072 yards and six scores. He had more yardage than any other tight end in Division 1-A.
10/26/08: A monstrous force for Max Hall, Dennis Pitta has caught 50 passes for 645 yards and four touchdowns this season. He's on pace to smash his impressive 2007 figures.
7/27/08: Despite missing one game and being limited in another, Dennis Pitta led BYU in receptions with 59. He also had 813 yards and five touchdowns, earning himself a spot on the All-Mountain West first team.
Comments:
09/12/09- vs. Tulane- Rugged TE who can make the difficult catch.
12/22/09- vs. Ore St, MAACO Bowl- Nice one handed catch for a 1st down. He gets a nice push off due to his size and can make the catch with above average hands. Split the seem and made a nice catch for a TD (3rd 8:51). He gets open and and makes nice catches. His size and strength is above average which makes him a solid prospect who can both block and receive.
